I'm doing some major welding on my 67FB (all rear qtrs and frame ) and while i have it all bolted down to a jig I figure now would be a good time to do any welding/mods to the engine bay.
I'm planning on dropping in a 351W block with long-tube headers. Is there enough room to work around the block without too much headache? A 351w will fit easily. You can shave the shock towers for more room, but there really isn't a need. This is what a 460 looks like... and the 351w is alot smaller.

This is my 68 with a 351W with a Wyland Stealth high rise manifold. I also have Doug's Headers.

That's good to see... for some strange reason i've only ever seen 351 and larger engines in 69+ year mustangs.

How bad (if at all) is it to get at the spark-plugs?
