65 and 67 TS switch question

I'm putting a late 67 column in my 65 (long story)...
Can I put a 65 TS switch in a 67 column with a 67 steering wheel? Or can I modify the wiring on the 67 TS switch to plug into a 65 harness?

67 Turn signal switch has signal lines for the e-flasher; 65-66 does not. The connectors at the base of the steering column are very different between the two as well.
