68 vs 69 disc brake rotor questions

okay, dumb question time...
My 65 is welded together enough to move. I have 68 disc brake spindles (the whole 68 suspension) for the 65 that has 68 shock towers. It's going to be stored but I need to move it around easily. I am going to bring home a 69 that has disc brake spindles. I have no rotors for either car. If I buy rotors for a 68 will they ALSO work on a 69? or vise versa? I hate to buy four rotors espcially since the 65 will be sitting around a while outside. If I can buy just one set and swap them between the two cars that would be great!
thanks

According to my research from RockAuto, it looks like the rotors interchange as they both have the same part number from Raybestos 6006R.

awesome. That will make things easy. I will buy a couple and then I can roll the 65 into storage and pull them off. Take them to the barn and use them to load the 69!

The 68s and 69s have the same rotors. I converted my 69 to discs many moons ago and used 72 spindles because the 70-73s are heavier stock than the 68-69 spindles. But if you've already got the 68 spindles, the 69 rotors will fit just fine.

I have a 65 with 68 spindles and a 69 with 69 spindles. Both cars are in the "project" stage. I don't want to ruin new rotors by letting them sit and rust but I need to be able to roll the 65 into it's storage spot (car port). Then I need to get the 69 out of my dad's barn and bring home to work on it. Since they can share rotors that will be great!
