Accent?

I haven't "seen" Dave around lately but going to throw this one out there anyway.

Why is it women from England / Australia, etc are cool to hang around with just because of their accent?

I took the boys to their friend's b-day party yesterday and the kids mom is from New Zealand. She's not particularly ugly but not particularly hot either but somehow she gets extra hot points just for the accent.

Why is that?

Australian or French..........hubba, hubba :ep

But only spoken by a woman.

WOW...Laurie is a flasher that likes the accent........somebody is missing a chance here. :lol :lol

My swmbo actually changed the settings in her Garmin so it would speak Australian... :eek:mg

I wonder how much longer you can keep her when the missus sees what Karen Jacobsen looks like

Also, when you go around a corner, wouldnt she tell you youre going the wrong way and to get on the correct side of the road?

She's been on my Garmin for a long time......telling me where to go. Nice to have a face to put with the voice... :lol

Same here.....she might as well be the factory setting.

While watching John Stewart the other night, Snoop Dog was the guest. Snoop said that his voice is used on a navigation unit, but he didn't say which company (Garmin?, TomTom?).

It'd be pretty funny to be driving and hear Snoop givin' you the sniz nit directions, and what would he say when you missed a turn?!!!

I think it would be funny to have a Garmin with R Lee Emory giving the instructions.

I told my wife that and the first thing she said was "What is your major malfunction! Make a U-turn!"

Because you're waiting for them to say the next unfamilar term so you can compare it/have them explain it to you. It's interesting to compare the subtle similarities/diffrences in our languages.

When I was in a Perth AUS bar many years ago I struck up a conversation with a few of the local ladies. I told them that their accent fascinated me. In turn they said that they were even more so attracted to my American accent. I found this odd, but continued to let them buy me VB.

My Tom Tom has Clint Eastwood. You missed your turn, Punk!

Anyway, they were fascinated with my accent in Canada. I can only imagine down under....
