Same with Amsterdam and some coastel cities in Spain. Too much tourisme ( Japan , China , USA ) and the inhabitants are forced to take their car to go shopping as they can't find any bakkery , butcher in their neigbourhood.
( We are too friendly to people in general. Something I missed when I visited the states back in the 90's. )

Its the women fault !! Since they earn their own money and thereby have a equal vote on which items money can be spent .....You know the rest.
Vacations , restaurants , shopping , daytrips , citytrips ect ect ect.

Belgian waffles or Brussels Waffles and fries ..... they call them french fries but actualy those are in fact belgian fries.
