I know that there is a cheap way to register my mustang in ct but not sure. any new englanders around that can help me out.

I don't know about Conn., but in Ohio one can register a classic car for cheap--$20. The car is issued Historical plates, but there is a catch: You can only drive the car legally for parades, rallies, and tours. I suspect that most states are the same or similar.

I have spent close to $15,000 on improving my car through the years. I figure it is worth avoiding the hassle to just register it as a PC.

WA also has a classic car registration that has a one time fee of $50 IIRC and that includes the plate.

thanks I appreciate the info but i am registering in CT & they beat yo uover the head for any luxury items & I assure you, they consider classic cars a luxury,
I have had my cars registered in NY with historic plates for pennies but I believe that is not the way to go in CT
