busted bumper bracket bolts

Here is a picture of the access holes on my 68

I had a '67 that had the same holes shown above; must be one of those running changes Ford loved so much. My current 68 has them, and by the looks of the pass. side bolts, I'm gonna need them.
 
I know I'm late to this party, but I'll throw this in:

Use a reverse-twist drill for the extractor hole. Sometimes, the reverse action of the bit and the heat it generates will help the remnant out. More than once I've had the bit "grab" and spin the piece right out.

I think Sears sells extractors with their own drill points on them. They're reverse twist, so you kill two birds with one stone.

Thanks for the idea, but it's all done. I will keep that reverse drill bit in mind for next time though. I didn't know they made one.

Those be the ones I was talking about. Makes you wonder though, that if Ford made that change in 68 because dealer service departments were already having problems with the bumper arm mounts (nuts). Some of these problem areas we deal with actually manifested themselves within years of manufacture.
