I don't think you are thinking correctly here. How many years did you drive your car prior to the new radiator/cooler set-up without trans problems? It's when you bypassed the radiator trans cooler that you got into trouble. I would use the cooler in the trans then run it through the auxiliary cooler and back to the trans. Most trans coolers are meant to be just auxiliary units and not stand alone.
