Caltrac

Are they good? I've only heard good things about them, nothing bad so far.

Thinking about buying some stuff for my 67

Are you referring to CalvertRacing.com who supplies Caltrac products? If so, what items were you considering?

They are widely regarded to make some great pieces for the drag racing crowd. Not so sure how that translates to a car that will not see the track for serious racing.

I too am strongly considering adding Cal Tracs to my high hp resto mod (mostly) street car. Ive pretty much settled on installing them.

They will surely help to plant the rubber but if the tire has no chance of holding are they worth the expense? Seriously. Now if you also plan to swap on a set of slicks and run down the track...whole other ballgame.

I have Caltracs on my coupe. They make the rear hook like crazy but they also make the rear very stiff over bumps.
