Ran into another glitch. Went to go to bed the other night and passed out when I stood up. Went down like a rock taking the recliner with me. Talked to the doc the next day and he ordered an EKG, ECHO and a brain MRI. I now have proof that I have a heart...I saw it on the screen! and we'll see if I have a brain this coming week.
Don't think it's drug related, but you never know.

Ear Reduction Surgery.....you might be getting' top heavy.
Well your syncopal episode you had can be one of a few things:
1. Not enough fluid in the tank - like your engine.
2. Too fast of a heart rate or a drastic change in your rhythms rate. A pause so to speak.
3. As one gets older and men frequently get this especially when we pee at night that feeling of ahhhhhh
4. When we get up or the relief of a BM can stimulate the vagus nerve and that will drop your pressure.
5. If you turn your head and do the above and do the above item it will cause the carotid stimulation and drop your pressure
6. Medications can interact with other meds you are on and have a untoward reaction to you.
That's what I can think of off the top of my head Mark. If you want to talk about it pm me and we can go over that happened.

Got some good news last night. The test for the tumor marker that they use to determine if the chemo is doing its job came back. It has dropped from 127.7 to 26.8. Normal is less than 5. The doc, nurses and I are very happy!! Pac-Man is kicking some real ass.
It means the chemo is slowing the growth down to a crawl and hopefully to a stop! They have me on 8 Xeloda pills a day (2000mg). Some not so good side effects, but if it does the job, it's worth it!
