Carburetor retaining nuts

That's what I always thought :shrug, I would've used blue or torqued them then given them a dab of green.

I don't plan on taking it loose anytime soon..or at all for that matter.
 
When you do, the studs will come out of the manifold, no big deal. The nuts get stuck anyway from sitting and pull the studs out. Happends to me all the time on the cars that have been off the road for a while.
