We have just learned that Ron Bushy, the drummer for Iron Butterfly who helped made drum solos famous has passed away. Ron had been battling cancer for a while according to reports. Ron was the only original member of Iron Butterfly to appear on all the albums the band released. Ron was 79 years old.
