Completely non-mustang related restoration project before and after

Yes - I know what I've got.... funny to see your response! :thu

I used to be a big time watch collector, but have paired down to just a few. Going to pay for kid's college some day.

A few more - That I've sold off a few years ago:

I have been trolled. You were either testing to see if I knew that this was a high dollar Rolex "Steve McQueen" model or testing to see if i would offer to buy it for $1500. (which I will.). Those sea-dwellers and subs are 3 of the four primo divers watches that Rolex collectors pay top dollar for. The "double red" alone could pay for your mustang.

Hey - when are you going to be in Austin? You still owe me lunch! $1500 seems fair, will you toss in a 6 pack as well? :thu

My wife did let me roll some funds into my car passion, but most of it went to pay off a some debt we had. Not trying to rub the rolexs in any one face. One of my favorite watches is the my "beater" http://www.mkiiwatches.com, before he became really famous. They do great work!

Holy crap! I guess my $20 Craigslist mustang watch really is worthless.

I have an old Omega my Grandfather gave me when I was 9 that needs some repair. I think the stem is broken.

I love that watch! It is just the right size. I hate big watches.

I like the Invicta watches. I have a gold plated one with a Mother of Pearl face that is very cool.

My daily beater is a $7 Wal-Mart special digital.

I got a nice Invicta watch too, Mel. I got it from a partner in my firm. It was given as a gift to him. I know they aren't that expensive at all, but I love it.

The thing is just how many people still wear watches? Most just use the clock on the cell phone. :hs
I would be lost without a timepiece on my wrist. Also the face of my watch is the same side as the palm of my hand. :sm_NTA

I had to stop wearing them. Seems I'm pretty hard on watches and ended up breaking most of the ones I've owned.

No matter how smart my smartphone gets i will always appreciate a nice watch and will always wear one.

I have a decent Tag for weekends, time off etc and then i have a G-Shock for work, mustang time. Both great watches.

I have worn this Montique almost every day since I was a teen. It needs some TLC but it keep going (if I remember to wind it).

I've probably got a dozen or so. I have a decent Tag and a pretty cool Tissot, but hardly wear any of them anymore. I use the clock on the phone
