Today i bought a early 1900s steam powered stationary engine from a uncle of mine. While i was there i noticed some old valve covers that said "Cobra Lemans" on then. I asked about them and he gave them to me for free. I figured they were repops. Well i got home and cleaned the inside and as i was cleaning the words " Shelby American Inc." came to view :wtf . I about fell over. lol Best part they were free!! Here is a picture of the covers and the steam engine. I just thought i would share the excitement.:mou

IIRC, those are 68 GT500/500KR valve covers. 67 have "Cobra Lemans" on one line, and 68 has 2 lines.

Inside the cover, under Shelby American, see if there's an S7MS-***** part number......

Think you're right.

Pete doesn't have a specific page for valve covers, but you can see the Cobra Lemans on two lines in the GT-500 engine picture here...
