Cover?

Not sure what to do on that one.

Since the passenger side of your car will be fairly tight up against the garage wall, you'll only have 3 sides of the car that need to be protected (front, rear, drivers side).

A car cover isn't going to do anything but hide damage until it's removed if a kid's bike smacks into the car.

If I were in your position.... and I have 5 kids.... I'd look at better protection than a cloth/fiber cover will provide.

If you go to your local bicycle shop the owner will GLADLY give you as many heavy-duty tri-wall cardboard boxes as you can load into a truck. The boxes have big flat sides. You could easily fashion a few sections of this cardboard to make a protective "wall" for the exposed sides of the car. To prevent the cardboard from leaning directly on the paint use a car cover. The sections of cardbaord are thick enough that they should be able to lean fairly close to vertical.... and can easily lean up against the wall when the car's on the road.
