Daydreaming about someday...

I'm working. Just lots of work left to do. Everything always seems easy and straightforward until you get into it. Turning 40 sq ft or so of flat 18 ga sheet metal into the bottom half of a car alone is a challenge. Learning all the necessary fabrication skills and methods and tricks to pull it off is quite another. Couple that with my tendency to fixate on the smallest of details and well, here we are. At least the finish line is closer than it was! Won't be long and the top will be getting chopped. All the top wood replaced with homemade pieces crafted from a stack of white oak I've had sitting, drying out for a bit now. From welding burns to splinters, if this project doesn't kill me it will certainly be leaving quite a few marks! :p
