Distributor gasket rubber or paper

Is it suppose to be paper or rubber

As in from the block to the dizzy

Don't you have a rubber O-ring? I have never used a gasket between the dizzy and block.

Summitracing showed both and after playing with it I found that it was leaking at the intake not the dizzy

On a 428 it should be a Rubber O-Ring which is V-shaped on the outside to seal. I cant imagine this being paper. They normally come with an intake gasket set.

Post a pic if you are unsure.
