Droid X cell phone review

But it didn't call you and tell you the engine was about to go............

That almost made me choke from laughter Pete....good one.

I have always laughed at my younger employees who say they can't live without all the crap on there cell phones. They think I'm a dinosaur because i had a 5 year old flip phone and I don't even text.

Well this week my mother(who is on our cell plan) left her cell in her pants and put them in the wash! so we went to get her a new phone and I ended up with a droid phone. Now I have to admit it is pretty amazing what these things can do. I can even get on the fix at work.
Now I will never get anything done.

We must be twins...I'm holding onto my Motorola Razor with a death grip, chips in the corners of the screen from dropping and all. This thing wont' die, had it since Katrina. My wife, who is less phone/comp. savvy than I, is begging for a new 'touch' phone since her sister has one.... Funny as the way she picked the flip she has now was by pointing to the choices of phones I could get from AT&T for free on their site and saying, "I want the pink one", had no idea what they do different and doesn't know now. All she and my 11yo know is that no one uses a flip phone anymore so they must have a slide or touch :po

The 11yo is the worst, begs for a phone every day and her bday is coming up....
I hate to give up the size/ease of my flip, I wear it sideways on my belt like my magazine clips so I don't even know it's there. I won't get internet on any of the phones but can see the convenience of being able to get emails on my phone. Looking at the droids or something with a slide out wide keyboard, don't like the touch screens.

Yeah, I went to look at new phones for my mom and they thought I was crazy asking for a basic flip phone that doesn't need an internet package. So I gave my old flip to her and got myself the new phone.

If you want a waterlogged razor for parts and all the chargers let me know. :lol

Jon, now that I have used my Driod for a couple months now, I can say the keyboard which was important to me is useless. I never use it and wish I waited for the X so I could have a bigger screen.

I too was a hold out, but the Droid got me.

I don't know how I lived without getting email and other web stuff on my phone. I travel and I don't even take the laptop unless I am going for more than four days or so.

I have to say that a bigger keyboard would be nice. I got the HTC aria and typing on here is killing me.
