Finally painted mine!

was looking thru your pics and saw that you undercoated with bedliner? was thinking about doing that with SEM's or SPI's kit. a few questions:

1. what product do you use?
2. why did you do it? besides being durable, I am hoping it is effective sound deadening as a more cost effective approach to dynamat type stick on products, was thinking about doing the inside as well, have you ever applied it to floors or in doors or quarters?
 
We use Raptor Liner. It comes in black or we can tint it to match any color. I have used a few brands and found this to be the best for what we do. It dries hard. It still has a little give to it, but isn't too rubbery like some of the other products. I have used it in the inside of jeeps and off road vehicles. I think it would be fine inside of doors and quarter panels and should definitely act as some sound deadener. I don't know if it would quiet a car down as much as dynamat does though, unless you sprayed it on really thick. The good thing is that it makes the bottom of the car look really nice without spending hours and hours priming and sanding. It also fills in seams and keeps water or moisture out of any body seams. Rinsing the bottom of the car off is easy.

Very nice... I like the idea of matching the dash color to the stripe color... :thu I did that on mine too.

Yep....after we replaced the full length floor pans in my car we coated both the top and bottom side of the floor pans and seat risers with something similar and then let it dry for a couple of days before we put the carpet, seats, etc back in.
