I finally found a set of speakers for my kick panels that fit nice. They still have a little, maybe 1/8" over hange but a lot less than any other speaker I tried.

They are Infinity Kappa series, I'll edit later when I get home and add the model number. Very please with them, at least the fit, I haven't fired 'em up yet.
I have some standard Pioneer's in Red's kickpanels which someday I might change out. Infinity or Boston Acoustics would be some good choices. Red uses BA's powered by an AMP in de trunk.
