Yes I have four daughters and they were all grinning from ear to ear. I have a few more pics with more progress from last Saturday. As soon as I get them down loaded off the camera I will post them. I installed chrome trim and the weather strip rubber around doors and trunk. Almost done. Yahoo!

Very nice looking '70. Done right (like yours) the '69/'70 coupes are very nice looking cars. My daughter and son each had a '69 coupe at one time

I just finished putting Autometer Ultra Lites in my '69 sportsroof. I have to get some new pics with the dash pad beck in it. I used electricall gauges, including the speedomter. It's dead on accurate according to my GPS.

Thanks Johnpro,
Did you use the stock cable for the speedo or did you buy a new one? Did have any issues using mechanical gauges?
Thanks for any information you can give me.

Rick

Oops. I just corrected my original response ... I used all electrical gauges. So now I have a couple wires running to the tranny, and no speedometer cable. If I was ever to change rear gears or tire size, I just re-calibrate the speedometer, and move on. It does cost more to go this way, but it makes for a more accurate speedometer.

I'll try to get better pics tomorrow, with the dash pad back in.

they open fine for me, it just takes a couple of seconds. Beautiful Car. Do i see a nominee for car err... coupe of the month? :10
