Thanks gentlemen [nb]and I am using that term very loosely[/nb]

Had a good day at the track, engine ran great although it was getting a little too hot after 4 laps. I still need to go back and address the water pump issue.

As Bob so eloquently typed, the rain did come, but not till I had been out for 3 sessions :pbj Sean drove from St.Louis with his red 65 2+2 and ran 2 sessions till he developed a nasty rear seal leak in his toploader. I felt bad, but as everyone on planet Earth knows...been there, done that.

Once the rain arrived the day was over....almost. My lovely wife had planned a little party at the track so we enjoyed pizza and cake with other drivers, track workers and some friends. It was great to feed the track guys seeing as they are the ones that make our fun days possible!

I must also give sneaky props to Skip, he was in on the party and did what he could to keep me there after the rain started but before Deb had arrived with the food. Dale, my boiled peanut eating compadre...I swear that one day I will meet you in person and when that happens, you're gonna get a swift :nut
