fordrule (Joesph) coming home form the sand box

lol i had a hard enough time bringing back a piece of shrapnel from a mortar that blew up and a piece came by my head....currently we left earlier today but now we are in germany stuck overnight and then hopefully be home tomorrow sometime.... oh hum
 
i am mainly just happy yo finally be out of iraq...officially in transit...just held up by weather...I will be home soon enough...well tomorrow that is
 
currently we are waiting in the pax terminal at Spangdahlem AB, Germany. the c-17 crew knew before we left iraq that we were stopping and shutting down here and didn't think it was relivent to tell us till we were leaving the aircraft that we were staying the night and oh yeah by the way the post was shut down because of the snow storm...gotta love the air force....lol

so far the word is that we are leaving today since the storm has lifted, so we should be home sometime later today...I am just hoping when i get home that there will be places open to go get food..but i might get surprised with some home cooking. I am not complaining about the accommodates here, had a comfy bed, warm shower, afn tv...just still under GO 1( no beer)...blah..and we couldn't really go out and see germany...

thanks for all the kind words..we still haven't heard when our next rendezvous with destiny is(our next deployment)
