OK dudes it is time for your Friday work assignment.

1) Does your phone have a camera? Do you take pics of your friends and family so that when they call their picture is displayed? What is your screen saver pic now?
Yes, Only a few, my former avatar of the 6 Lombardi trophies that I took with my phone.

2) What is the very last thing that you did to your Vintage Mustang? (Does not include driving.)
Washed it after I pushed it to my other garage and put a car cover on it.

3) If you could send yourself a message back in time, it can only be one simple sentence, what would it be?
Do not sell the Shelby.

4) What did you want to be when you grew up? And how close is it to what you are doing now?
I wanted to be an Astronaut who was a test pilot. Grew up during the height of the space race. Not even close, install security systems when I have a job.

5)What is your education level?
I have an AS with a major in electronics and a certificate in Industrial Electronics. I first learned electronics in the Air Force and then wanted to be an Electronic Engineer. It was calculus and physics that put a stop to that.

1) A part of our daily lives now is our cell phone. Ever just make a quick run to the store and forget it and think about running back home to get it. :craz That is not the question. Does your phone have a camera? Do you take pics of your friends and family so that when they call their picture is displayed? What is your screen saver pic now? It's a dang tool! If it rings, I answer it...

2) What is the very last thing that you did to your Vintage Mustang? (Does not include driving.)Replaced battery and fixed intermittent radio power lead connection.

3) If you could send yourself a message back in time, it can only be one simple sentence, (only as long as to the word sentence) what would it be? (Remembering that if you are married and divorced with kids would you want your children not to exist.) Don't pass the note to her during History Class, you idiot!

4) What did you want to be when you grew up? That is when you were a young child and first realized that some day you would grow up have to get a job what did you want to do? And how close is it to what you are doing now?I wanted to be a psychiatrist. When I was in the 4th grade, I took an aptitude test for future professions: engineer was 1st, computer stuff was 2nd. I took an entirely different direction and ended up as a systems engineer; the test was deadly accurate! I still have the results of that test...(should have identified my profession as pack-rat! *G*)

5)What is your education level? B.A., M.S., and Ph.D.

That is it. 5 easy questions to learn something new about your fellow StangFixers.

Yes it has a camera, use it all the time. No, caller id stuff. Screensaver is a pic of a 67 fastback i found wroughting in a field a while back. The owner never returned any of my calls.

2) What is the very last thing that you did to your Vintage Mustang? (Does not include driving.)

Built a custom center console, and put in grab a trak lowering springs.

3) If you could send yourself a message back in time, it can only be one simple sentence, (only as long as to the word sentence) what would it be? (Remembering that if you are married and divorced with kids would you want your children not to exist.)

Dont go on vacation in 2009. My grandmother died the day i landed in another country.

4) What did you want to be when you grew up? That is when you were a young child and first realized that some day you would grow up have to get a job what did you want to do? And how close is it to what you are doing now?

I wanted to be a pro ball player.

5)What is your education level?

Bachelors in Finance and a minor in economics from Penn State. - Loved my time at Happy Valley. Graduated not long after September 11th, when the stock market was in a huge down swing. Even though i was on the deans list I had a hard time finding a job that wasn't commisioned based. Planning to get married, I worked as a plumber (Mostly new custom residential homes) during the summers of high school and college, so went back to that for steady income. I guess you could say i got stuck. Here, you need 4 years of plumbing school to qualify to work by yourself, or as a crew leader. Finished that (got my Journeymans license), After the journeymans apprentiship (another 2 years), I tested and passed the Masters License. Plan on being a General Contractor, and build custom homes one day.

1-Cell phone? Who sez? I'm not a fan of 24/7/365 availability. The closest I have is a Tracphone, and SWMBO usually carries that.

2-Wash, wax, and oil change for winter storage.

3-Buy that $950 Boss 429 engine and trans that you see in the salvage yard in the summer of '76.

4-Automotive design--ran afoul of lack of artistic talent. My mean rotten corrupted little sister (now an art teacher) got it all. I did spend a dozen years in automotive service management before I burned out on the 60+ hour work week.

5-BS in Ed--History/Political Science double major.

That is it. 5 easy questions to learn something new about your fellow StangFixers.

1. It has a camera, but I rarely use it, actually only at car shows or a cute picture of something my dog does. My screen saver is the framed centerfold of when Murphy was in Mustang Monthly.

2. Murphy: cleaned the undercarriage; Trouble; ran the negative battery cable underneath and drilled a hole through a support and placed two grommets in it so the cable could go through.

3. Too many to list, can't choose.

4. Always wanted to be an archaeologist, and I am.

5. B.A., M.A., Ph.D., M.B.A., in that order.

I use the camera only when I don't have a better alternative. Have a pic for SWMBO but no one else. Our furry child serves as a screensaver model.

2) What is the very last thing that you did to your Vintage Mustang? (Does not include driving.)
Covered it for the winter.

3) If you could send yourself a message back in time, it can only be one simple sentence, (only as long as to the word sentence) what would it be? (Remembering that if you are married and divorced with kids would you want your children not to exist.)
Don't even think about taking that first puff on a cigarette.

4) What did you want to be when you grew up? That is when you were a young child and first realized that some day you would grow up have to get a job what did you want to do? And how close is it to what you are doing now?
As a little kid I wanted to be a cowboy or pilot. When I grew up a little I wanted to work in radio. I was a radio engineer and part time DJ for a while after high school before becoming an electronics teacher.

5)What is your education level?
HS diploma, enough night and summer school college courses to allow me to teach vocational electronics, school of hard knocks.
