Fuel Filler neck with unleaded nozzle on Classic Stangs

While I do not have that problem with the 66 due to the straight shot fuel cell, I do have the problem with my inboard boat. It holds 38 gals of fuel and if I don't pay close attention to the sound of the fuel flow, it'll splash all over the back of the boat and me. I've tried all different angles with no diff. result. It has a vent close by too.

I just pump at a higher rate till I know it's getting close, then pump as slow as it will allow. Have to listen closely, but it does work.

Yeah, it sucks.

Any time a HAVE to refuel in Oregon I tell the guy he can hold the hose but I'm doing the refuel. Now some even just ask to swipe your card...so they are involved and let you do the refueling. What a bureacratic waste. These people could be actually working at a good job, like flipping burgers.
