Hey all!, I'm installing a 100amp one wire alt. What size fuse or circuit breaker would you use? No killer stereo, biggest draw is the electric fan. Thanks, kip

You are probably better off fusing all circuits running off of the starter solenoid rather than trying to protect the alternator to starter solenoid.

I was advised to go just above my alt. output when I asked a similar question and I'm using a 100A alt. also but mounted my battery in the trunk. I went with a 120A resettable and manual trip ciricuit breaker so I could cut the power if I was working on the circuit. Here's the thread:
