This is actually a 65, not a '64. The nose is different.

The rear tail lights are different too. On a 64, the backup lights are integrated into the tail lights. For 65, Chevy moved the backup lights to the bumper. I have a '65 El Camino with 65 tail lights and 64 bumper - So no backup lights at all.

Yep, The giant killer E38 charger with the 265 hemi with factory triple Weber carbies.
The only letdown was the 3 speed box as Chrysler was too tight to spend the bucks on a 4 speed, until they saw how it performed against the GTS Monaro & the GT Falcon.
The 4 speed came in the E49, but it was too late as the Supercar scare had hit and all the high performance cars were shitcanned.
