What are the most dangerous things that happen to your garage?

1- SWMBO! She put so much crap in my garage! I spent hours going through it and getting rid of the trash and putting tools away, I even built her two shelves so she could have her own space! If I did that to her house...OMG there would be hell to pay! No respect for a mans cave!

2- Cats!!!!!!! Mike come on over and have fun! These critters have not even been keeping the gophers down, so what the heck am I doing feeding them and keeping them around? I spent hours trying to clean up feathers from birds and hair. Well not all the hair is theirs, the two dogs left their fair share. Oh, did I mention they have moved boxes full of stuff and pretty heavy I might add so they can hide. And the Poo all over the place! Can't the little Shart heads poop outside! :rp :rp :rp :rp I so want to feed the coyotes!

3- Kids!! I have three daughters. They have all moved out. Two of them have left most of their stuff in my garage!

Garages are for cars, guns, Fishing stuff and a few other hobbies, not stuff that won't fit in the house, or should be taken when one moves out!

Argh! I have been working so hard and I know that when I leave for the tour season, SWMBO will mess it up again. I spent three hours scrubbing a stain from miricle grow on my floor. That crap belongs in the garden shed not my garage!

Rant over for now! If you guys have any other dangers to add, I am sure we will all get a laugh at your expense!

Mel, do whatever it takes to re-conquer Man Land and keep it!! It's the only land mass that we are allowed to keep. The only thing of Deb's that can stay in the garage is her car and garden tools. She has the house and the outside is mine :ecit

The most dangerous thing that happens in my garage is ME after I've consumed several of my little cold friends and decide to tackle a new minor task on my car, which usauly turns out to be anything but. :po

If I lose the key to the garage/shop door, I'm screwed. There is only one key and it's on my "janitor size" key ring.

My wife/kids do not have access to nor any garage priveleges.
 
Number one reason why I haven't worked on the car in almost 2 years. My wife's gardening crap spread throughout the garage. Little did I know that she also filled the trunk of the mustang with more junk. Now we have no room for any of it. This has already been discussed, but it seems I've lost the argument.

New years resolution, take back my garage.
 
The 3-4 ft black snake, if you surprise him he gets testy. So do I when I surprise him, so we're even. OTOH, I have no issues with mice in the 'stang upholstery since he showed up.

He adopted me. I haven't seen him since it got cold, but he's been around for 3 years. Keeps the pests out.

Don't tell the wife, she would not be happy :scar
 
Three garages here, 2 of which are mine. "No girls, no dogs". At least that's what the sign says...

Probably, but it's easier just to tell her to mover her crap out of my car, or I'll move it to the trash. Then I'll worry about the divorce papers.
 
Empty the trunk into some boxes, store them where she cannot find them, then wait for her to need them or see the trunk empty. Your reply.....what stuff...... After a few times, she will think her mind is going and will leave the trunk alone.

Hehehe, she'll probably just fill it back up again.

My experience with SWMBO and the garage, is everything that gets put out there is instantly forgotten and never seen again! I go through boxes and find stuff I haven't seen for many years all the time! It's kind of like Christmas.

After the second trunk filling, you take the first box back into the house and empty it somewhere....then she has a Christmas too. Plus, who the heck gave her a key for the trunk in the first place???? Fix that thing so it won't open but for one person.
