Gas line supposed to look like this?

So I took my 2 piece gas line out of the box yesterday and i noticed that the second piece of the gas line seems to be bent. Was this done to ship it out and I have to un-bend or did somebody screw up at CJ ponys?
 
Normal, it's how they ship them. Simple to bend them back to what is needed.
 
I have heard that is for shipping...which sucks...or you can relocate you engine closer to the tank....
