Pre Halloween I ran over somebody's cat. Last Saturday morning I had a $3k run in with a deer. Today I took out somebody's dog. Anybody have any animals they want to get rid of?

Sorry about your luck.

Sounds like the weird day I had when I was about 19-20. First, I had a couple of dogs run the car, had to swerve to avoid them. Then I had to slam on the brakes & swerve to avoid a bunch of rabbits that ran in front of the car & did the zig-zag panic move. Finally, a cat came hurdling out of the ditch & leapt in front of the car, fully stretched out in the air Superman style, and turned his head in what seemed to me slow motion to look right at me before the car took him out. Not a damn thing I could do about that one. All that in the course of one country drive.

Acid is some crazy stuff man.

Sounds like me last week.
I copped a rock right in my line of sight and put a big bullseye in the windscreen of the Hilux.
As i was heading off to Alpha (1200km's drive to the middle of nowhere) i got a new screen, which coincidentally was the first screen i have done in 32 years of driving.
Insurance covers 1 per year so that was great.
Headed off at 3am and by 6am i had cleaned up 3 brown snakes, 2 rabbits and a fox (In OZ you don't slow down for any of these vermin).
Made it to Alpha that night, got up at 5am and headed out to the mine, 10 minutes later out comes a wallaby (Tiny Kangaroo) from my left and turned across in front of me.
He cleared the bullbar, but went straight into the screen, then ripped the top off my snorkel on his way to heaven.
Back into town, $800 for a new screen, back to the mine to finish the survey and then headed for home.
Next day, 1/2 way home, a road train going the other way threw up a huge rock that went straight through my new windscreen and put a hole the size of your fist in it.
Duct taped it up to get home and bought another screen.
I hope thats it for a while.
Heres a pic of the first encounter with the wallaby

I've hit deer, coons, rabbits, squirrels, birds, I think I may have even hit a dog once but never a Wallaby!

I am sure this will offend someone, but here is a pic of the ex - wallaby.
Did a lot of damage for a little fella
