It's at my buddy's restoration shop. Probably going to take Friday off...get the motor installed in the morning and then take it to the exhaust shop. I bought some manifolds for it because I hated the long tube headers that were on the car when I bought it but will have to change the pipes between the manifolds and the mufflers.

Hoping he gets the new rear window installed in the next day or two.

With a fresh motor and new stall converter (I think we went with something like 1900) it should perform a little better. Eventually need to do something with the rear end though. At some point I need to change the gearing and thinking I'll probably replace the leaf springs at the same time. All the bushings in the rear of the car are pretty much shot....already basically completely redid the front of the car with new bushings, etc.

I also need to replace the windshield in the '01 Mustang we just bought. It has a crack...it's not in the line of vision but just annoys me. Made the guy take a couple hundred off the sales price to get it fixed. Ironically, the boys noticed the crack in the windshield before I did....they are pretty good little helpers to take along if looking at a car you're considering buying, LOL!
