Got the phone call I knew was coming

Sorry she is gone---what a peacefull way to do it though---give me a contract to go out like that and I would sign in a second! I once asked a 96 year old lady in the small town I live by what was the biggest changes you first think of you have seen and she said coming to town once and seeing her first car! I can't imagine a generation seeing anymore changes than your Grandmothers. She witnessed the industrial revolution rise and fall, several huge wars, the birth of computers, man going to the moon and the list could go on and on. I am sure you are greatfull she never suffered for a long time and now hopefully has found even greater peace!

Thanks to all for your kind responses (well, most of you), got into town this afternoon. The funeral is tomorrow and "Granny" stories are flying all around.

Mark, I am sorry for your loss. Any chance this was your grandmother?
