Had some me time

Hoard them! Then change your will to have me inherit them...tee hee!

Outside temps are rising again so its time to do something on the fastback.
To align that complete front end to the body , I got me some square tubing as a kind of rail and made some adjustable supports.
I digged into my pile of rubble and found all what I needed. Iron tube and L-shape , nuts and thread bare.
Took me half a day to find and cut the parts and half a day to weld them together.
Next cleaning and give it some paint.

An old iron made in the USA . I don't know how old this is. Probably its a left-over from the war , WWII , I think.

No bridge missing parts here but in Baltimore they miss a whole bridge supposely.

Still aligning that front to the rest of the body.
I want to be sure before welding it together that it is straight. Don't want to cut things loose afterwards . I want it to be neath as possible.
Put the cowl on and mounted the export brace on. Also I had to rework that reinforcementplate between cowl and brace.
I am also thinking of mounting fenders and hood to see how things align.
I am pritty sure it will fit to my standards but better save then sorry.
Pics will follow.
