Hey Stangfix....

Does anybody live in or very near to Waco, Texas? I am going to be moving up there in a couple weeks to start attending Texas State Technical College for Auto Mechanics and was kinda wondering if anybody had somewhere I could put my 73 Mach 1 to work on with free time. :)

I wish I lived closer to Waco. Id have no problem with you putting your mach in my garage next to my 66... but I live about an hour and a half away in Bryan/College Station. :(

And what kind of excuse is that? lol

I grew up in Waco. When I lived in Waco, there used to be a place over off of Valley Mills drive called Two Minnies, what some call an anatomy bar. There were girls there that would let you park your mustang in their garage for $100 or so. Less if you just wanted the tires inflated. You had to make sure you covered up your mustang. Also, it was a good idea to check the garage for rats. Maybe they are still making deals like that.

Can't help on the garage front, as none of my family lives there. There used to be a place over on LaSalle avenue that rented big storage garage spaces for pretty cheap. Also, the TSTC campus is not to far from the Branch Davidian compound or from W's ranch in Crawford. Maybe they would lease some space.

I would be willing to bet that someone on the TSTC faculty could tell you where you could find a place to keep your car on the cheap.

I take it for the Two minnies place you just gotta "visit" and see if theyd allow you to park your car in there garage? But i think I should work on the line. That one sounds like I could get slapped if it tried it.
