I am spending way too much time here because it is so entertaining. I am on the computer doing my daily job search thing, checking my email, thanks for the email Mike that was a good one. I am a technician, I install fire and security systems, why would I want to sell insurance? Sorry got off track. I was in this same place about 5 years ago. I would check and post at that other site. But that place does not even compare to here. What I mean is just the good ole fun that we have here picking on each other and the compassion for others in need. So the question is for those that have real jobs sit at a desk and are able look at the Fix while working how do you get your work done? And does your boss know just how much time you spend here. Look at the top of this page, it will show you just how much time you are logged in. But on the positive side I keep seeing all of the work that so many of you are doing to your Mustangs I am getting more motivated than I have been in years. fd

I'm an auto technician and it's the slow time of year here. They have Youtube & Facebook blocked but don't care what other sites we surf as long as it's not porn. When there's no work, it's technically my time.

Guess I type fast...LOL!

No, seriously...I check the Fix first thing when I get here and am having coffee. Take a break for a couple minutes here and there during the day. Usually check in after lunch (like right now) for a few minutes.

Just got a 4.5% raise today so I must be doing something right...or at least be kissing the right ass...but then again I've never been a "yes man" to say the least so must be doing something right.

Speaking of work, guess I should get some done this afternoon, LOL!

Work has been slow for the last year so there is alot of spare time to spend at the Fix. Log-in at my desk in the morning and work when needed and the rest of the time is spent here.(at least I look busy all the time)

I work for myself out of my house, I'm always here and I never get any work done.

I seriously doubt anyone feels sorry for me!

Good thing about the Fix is it keeps Mark from chasing Cruisers around.

I have no idea. My work is intense for a few days, then gives me more time to catch up. I've found reading but not replying saves some time, and I still know more or less what's going on.

All in due time, the snow can't last forever.

I'm with Rick. My work doesn't begin until I get an email/phone call. Over the recent holidays I had..... maybe..... 2 phone calls and 3 emails. Yes. Yes. No. Yes. No. The rest of the time I'm sitting behind my PC waiting for the next email/call.
