The water in San Carlos is safe to drink, but the tap water has a metallic taste due to the purification. I brush my teeth with it, but have bottled water for drinking and cooking as do many of the residents there.
You actually are more likely to get sick from what you have eaten than from drinking the water. And, don't forget, ice cubes are made from water.![]()
