when i worked in the tetons in the summer, people asked me why i worked there in the summer instead of in tucson, and i replied that the daytime high in the tetons was the same as the overnight lows in tucson. so they checked, and after a week they gave up and realized i was right. often times they saw the daytime high in the mid 80s to mid 90s, with the overnight low in tucson usually being 3-4 degrees hotter.
