Now I just need to finish up a couple of pesky issues. A/C has GOT to happen. Holy cow is it hot outside.

Who was it that said it would be months before this thing was on the road?

I see you went with the foxbody seats also, did you recover them with TMI? or are they stock? What's the plan - weekend cruiser and shows or ?

Wimp! If I can drive my stang in 100+ temp with no A/C other than all windows down + no carpet/insulation and a big hole in the floor (get a nice hot blast of air from it and the firewall so you have hot burning feet), then you can do without A/C! :craz

Hey believe me, I can do that too. I put 100,000 miles on this car as a daily driver for about 10 years with a black interior.

Howevah, I work in an office with business casual attire, usually a polo and khaki's, and I sweat a lot. By a lot I mean my shirt can be completely soaked, front and back, by the time my commute is done. Sucks.

Fox body sport seats, TMI upholstery with 68 style vinyl.

Realistically, next few months weekend cruiser and shows as I work the kinks out and do a good shakedown. I need reliable transportation, showing up late when you are instructing a class does not do well for your credibility or reputation. Intent after the kinks are worked out is to drive it as much as possible. I will likely get in the habit of checking the weather, and driving it if it looks clear, or not if there will be rain. Most likely won't drive it in the dead of winter to avoid the salt issue.

I know what you mean. After riding around in the stang, my shirt is soaking wet and looked like I stepped out of the shower. Very unlady like to walk around like that. :lol So I try to avoid driving it while the sun is up and only a couple nights a week to go to meets around town.

Really? You confess to that after giving me crap about wanting a/c? Noted.

Do they put all the stickers in the center ? It seems they would be on the drivers side for easier police checking ??

That's VA law. Notice the DoD stickers have to be where they are too. Not too hard to reach on that car, but a PITA on trucks and some SUVs. Not allowed in the lower windshield corner where I've always had them in every other state.

The lower left side is where we used to have to put them 30 or so years ago when the state required inspection, but not anymore. :pbj

And just what is this "inspection" thing you refer to? No such creature in Indiana ;)

But seriously, congratulations! Got to feel good to reach a milestone like that.

It means the shop wasn't able to sell me any light bulbs, windshield wipers, brake pads or exhaust pipes.

Who puts on the inspection sticker? You'd loose pioints at a MCA show for it not being level. :lol :lol :lol :lol
