Didn't try mine bubba.....sounds like ya'll got those Yankee tourist kind (which do taste like Sh*t) .for what it's worth for you non-believers, I just tried the first 10 sample ones and they are AWESOME !!!!!!! :yah :yah :yah

Actually the ones I tried were from a long time local who is said to have some of the best around here.......and my daughter loves them....... Oh well, I tried to raise her right.

I have also tried them in Georgia-Alabama, and Florida and I could not develop a passion for them---now dog farts---

I really do like most nuts. Never tried them, never heard about them until this place. Someday maybe I will try them as long as I do not end up like Abe. :nut

:thu My favorite! Great to bring to work and gross people out.
I've had them several places in the Southeast. The most unique was from Popcorn Sutton's stand. RIP. He boiled 'em in a huge pot over a roaring wood fire. No crock pot or stove top.
Best I can do here in Illinois is bring some canned ones back from down south, and they suck!
 
Don't you have some dog farts to smell instead of talking about boiled nasty buggers?
