Just got a 68' mustang!

I'd start with replacing the foil with proper fuses.

You have your work cut out for you thats for sure. Nothing too bad tho


IS THAT A FUEL LINE COMING THRU THE FIREWALL BY THE GAS PEDAL!?:eek:

The wire hanging down in the corner under vent is for the dimmer switch for high beams.
 
Alright! Thank you! Also, I forgot to mention, wiggling the shifter and turning the key did not work unfortunately, should I get a new switch as well?

In bold, next to photos:
Okay sounds good! Here's a few pics
White curved connector pair: turn signal switch wiring
flat red 3 female pin, 2 wires: lead for accessory lamps on dash lamp circuit
Black 90* pair on metal can: turn signal flasher can
2 pin female pin (yellow/black, 2 blue/red wires): radio power, lamp connector
Way in back: black connector w/2 green wires: brake switch

Connectors for engine gauge feed harness (flat 3 pin), pair of 2 pins: neutral safety switch and backup lights; four pin square connector: wiper motor. Plug at bottom right is for hood turn signals (optional).

Starter solenoid. From left to right: battery post, S or start cranking signal, I or coil power while cranking, and starter cable.
