Looks like I may be selling...

And Mark, yes, you can even have a new sweatshirt. But I get to pick it out and you HAVE to wear it. One time, in public and be photographed with said sweatshirt on.

I'm out on that, you're too perverted to trust.

I have a cash offer of 10K right now.

IF you have to sell you should take this offer.
One thing i have learnt looking around at life is when something is for sale, "The first GENUINE offer you get, is usually the best".
If you hold out for more, you may not find a higher offer.
Especially true with real estate and used cars.

Spring has sprung early this year. Buyers with cash and the urge to buy cars have been buying early. Since you were thinking $10-12 to begin with and you have a real $10k offer on the table...take it. You may not find another buyer or it may not happen for another month or more. Is another grand worth losing out on a months or more build time? I'd drop a thousand bucks in a heart beat if it meant I could get out in the garage and get to work on my car for a month's worth of weekends.

I don't have to sell it by any means. Part of me wants to keep it and rip it up in it this summer too and enjoy it. But 10k would go a loooong way on this coupe build. Hell it should damn near fund the whole thing a actually... Excluding getting crazy with the hemi.

I'd say sell it...however, I'd have to qualify that opinion with the acknowledgement that I've never really seen the attraction in rat rods...they just don't do much for me.

Given your affinity for Trans Ams I figure we all dismiss your tastes automatically. :roll

LOL!

At least my TA will be able to outrun the Cruiser when I am done with it.

If it makes you feel any better, I've got a real bug lately to eventually do a late 80's / early 90's model Fox body Mustang some day. Not sure where the heck I'd put a third addition however so for the time being I am limited by space. I've even seriously considered selling the '66 to make room / free up money...owned it ~ 4 years and kind of bored with it honestly.

Just don't take a TA in trade.

Heck, I would...I know where there is a nice late 70's pretty much all original Z-28 for sale fairly cheap if you're interested, LOL!
