Anyone else getting a malware notice of a infection problem on a few pages....? Got it on the COTM page and the updated falcon picture page. Nothing on my computer or any other sites....just a few pages here...

Did u visit VMF lately? When I went to VMF this morning, I got a page saying something about virus attack on the page so I left VMF. But hadn't noticed anything here.

No...I do not visit that site any more. Just got a new one on the gt 500 new posting....very irritating.

I got a virus when I sat on the toilet at the local hanky panky club.

Crabs, you know you can train those little suckers.

Actually my anti virus caught something after a short visit on VMF. Don't go there much but I have a few friends that post there. I think my anti virus removed it, I hope, I'm not too bright on computers or anything else for that matter.

Error from Chrome.

So....does this site need cleaning or what....I keep getting it on different pages now......

It got me. I am on the iPad now. Thought the antivirus got it but about couple minutes later it crashed. I can not do anything. Not even in safe mode.

I guess I will have to take it to a pro. I think the trojan resembles a system check and is blocking me from running anything. I can not even try to restore to a previous time. What a mess.

My son always seems to drag virus' onto his home PC... usually what I'll do to give a good cleaning is install his hard drive on another one of our home PC's as a slave drive, then immediately run the virus scanner on the virus laden slave disk. Since none of the system files on the slave are in use, the virus scan will clean them right up.

Ok. I was finally able to get into safe mode. I ended up restoring to a previous point. My question is do I still have that trojan hidden in the computer somewhere and just working around it?

Run a scan just be on the safe side.

I downloaded malwarebytes and ran a scan(but not in safe mode)before I read your post. I guess I got lucky. It removed the trojan and somekind of hyjack thing. Thanks for the info. It has made this computer dummy a little less dumb.

I have not seen any for a few times on line now. There were about 7-8 that I came across originally. Seems most just went away.... or were cleaned up somehow. Will update if I see anymore.
