Pretty radical approach to the issueHeh, I just came across this reply again and wanted to note that I have done something about that. Had to cut a hole in the hood, but hey, fresh air!
Air Shock police here...Got air shocks in the back that I keep pumped hard enough to not bottom. The front is a puzzle not yet solved. I like the stance, but it's definitely incompatible with great handling. I haven't decided what to do, but I'm not going to raise it much, if any.
Indeed, but I had to do something. The hood wouldn't close with a filter taller than 2" and even then it was bumping the stud and rubbing the filter top. My original idea was to put a cowl scoop over the hole, but I've grown kind of fond of the way it looks now and think I'll leave it like that.Pretty radical approach to the issue
I'm sure you tried a drop base air cleaner but just in case anyone reading this is not aware you can get an air cleaner with a base designed to lower the filter down around the carb an inch or so to improve hood clearance.Indeed, but I had to do something. Anyone know what color this is?
Where can I find a pic of your fastback?Definitely Kona blue. Same color as on my 65 fastback and 2016 Focus ST. Was first used on the Mustang around 2011
So far. Of course I don't have one outside the shop, yet...
and you need to keep it that way!Me? I didn't say anything.
Yes, that's 2012 Kona Blue. Great color...
Really changes with the light.
