Saw a bunch of those when we were at Myrtle beach... didn't make it in to one.

Went to Bob Evans instead... love their hotcakes

You were in Myrtle Beach and I didn't get to take you to Hooter's? WTF! :amaz

Yeah... I didn't realize there were any Stangfix'rs in the area until I got home... :sad I would have loved a trip to Hooters!!!

Uncle Vinny took me to one near their new place in Fuquay, NC and I found it to be reasonable, quick, and decent tasting fast food. The portions matched my aging appetite pretty well. I'll be back there again next weekend and I'm sure we'll go again. Vinny is nothing if not a creature of habit LOL. That particular store closes on Sundays, we heard because the owner wants people to spend Sundays with their families. Seemed like that store was very involved in the community.

All chick-fil-a's close on sunday. The founder of the company (Truett Cathy) is a devout christian, and believes that Sunday should be a day for church and family. He has the sunday-off written into the corporate charter, and it's (supposedly) unchangable. There's a lot of question on how long that rule will outlive him, but from my understanding, he's done everything in his power to make sure it is a rule-in-perpetuity. They are also, as a general rule, all very community centric. And they have a much higher caliber of employee than McDonalds/BK etc.

The only exception to the closed on sunday rule is the ones where they have free-beer-and-chicken sundays.

I need to get this schedule of free beer and chicken LOL.

Thanks for the clarification Steve. It was my first time in North Carolina and had never seen a Chick in a filet before...
