"SELLERSRODSHOP" said:well... got home yesterday afternoon & had a letter here from the codes dept. our little community was recently dissolved & incorporated into metro nashville. the a$$ holes in the subdivision behind me complained for years after the garage was approved & built because they didn't like to look at it. our small city finally told them after years to drop it, they didn't want to hear about it any more, there was nothing wrong. they used to complain that i was throwing loud parties in there till 3am with a stereo cranked up etc. got so bad at one point that the law was even called at 8pm because i had cut a piece of metal about 2'x3' with an air shear (about two mins work, not much louder than a drill). i'm guessing they now think metro will do something about it so are starting up with the complaining. there is still a little mess i'm dealing with from the fire that i haven't been able to finish with all the "other" things that have happened. i also have one vehicle here that doesn't have current tags, which is a violation, but my neighbor has 3 without tags including a 40 ft motorhome. he didn't get a letter....
