Maybe put the COTM on the home page? I'd also like to see the COTM pics be posted earlier.

I'll post the June CoTM today, start nominating and posting pics....

OK, OK...the verts get the month of April. The coupes will probably get one other month.

That leaves 10 months of the year for the true Mustang: the Fastback!

And then you woke up...................

...On the other hand, the small shows, like one put on by a school to raise money or a restaurant "cruise-in" I can usually get a trophy but still it's really hard to tell what judges like. I think your right on the original vs restomods. Not everybody understands or even notices all the mods but they know what an original should look like.

I agree with attending small parking lot shows and cruises. I personally don't care about trophies. Judges don't always know what original is either. Shiny ill fitting reproduction trim and chrome always scores better than my 40+ year old original stuff. I'd rather have patina. I'm a huge fan of restomods when done tastefully. Saw a really nice 65 Falcon Sprint for sale at the swap meet this past weekend. Mustang II front end, fat tires on the rear...really ugly red cloth interior. Kinda missed the mark for me but would do well at a small show. With all that went into this car an original type interior would have been a better choice. But you know what they say about opinions.

It's about time the verts got the spotlight for a least one month. :pbj :pbj

I don't know about other years but for 1970 they only made 7600 verts out of 300,000+ total mustangs. Thats only 600 more than boss 302's. Fastbacks are a dime a dozen. :nk

Well if you want to talk colors that's separate. My car was one of 49 in it's original color.

well there were only 325,853 Standard Hardtops built in 1967! And most of them were probably red! :lol

That is kind of weird. It appears that 1/2 of them are on this website.

I believe those of us that run the '66 model year have it all beat. Coupes made that year numbered 499,733 with 607,568 total cars for the model year. I believe that number holds the top for numbers sold in one model year, for any car....ever...from what I have read. I am slowly working my way thru them having owned 3 '66 Coupe. Just a few more to go.......

Other than that... :nta

So, the one pictured in a certain sig. block is a .....66 clone......fake.......wrongly identified......just f'd up......photochopped......non existent :)

Why all the debate, COTM=Convertible Of The Month...right? Just kidding, I own a FB and a Vert so either way I win...and my first Mustang was a 66 Coupe.
