There will be special parking for groups who have signed up called M.O.R.E. Here is a map of the clubs locations:

Can anyone see the PDF? I can't seem to get it to link :dun

Maybe a direct link will work:

I'll be parking in section 19 with the Music City Mustang club and the group from VMF will be in the next row from us. Please stop by and see me, should have the wife's '09 Warriors In Pink - can't miss it with the rose pink stripe on black car with glass roof. I hope to have my '67 running and looking terrible there too.
Please check in and let us know if you'll be parking in the MORE area and we may want to pick a night to all meet out for a few :beer

Glenn (MrGem) and I will be flying in to Teebone's location near Raleigh and taking one of his cars over to the show on Thursday and Friday.

We got on this too late to be part of a MORE group so will park wherever the folks with the Mustang entry credentials park. Perhaps a spot will open up somewhere and we can get into one of the groups. We'll check around and try to hook up with other Stangfix and VMF attendees.

Let me try to attach that map directly to the post:

I'll be in section 19 with VMF, it should be fun and interesting. Coleman and his wife Carla will be there also with 2 of their cars. They're driving in with the Mustangs Across America group. I'll be arriving, hopefully, the 16th before registration closes.

Like Pat (CaMachinist) said, we will be there as Teebone surrogates (he'll be recovering from surgery). As a westerner (CO), I've not attended any of the East Coast functions, so I am looking forward to meeting you all.

The wife and I will also be there Wed-Sat. As badly as I wanted the coupe to be done it wasn't happening so, no Mustang! :rant

At least we'll be in a Ford (the wife's Taurus). Been looking forward to this for 5 years. I hope to run into ya'll.

Hmmm, I seem to remember someone promising me a beer, let me see if I can find that post....

Ya'll be sure to stop by and say Hi, I'll try to put a sign in the window with all the forums I'm on and my JonK67 on it. The '67 didn't get finished in time but big thanks to Tarafied for coming by and getting it timed for me, one more step out the way.

You can't miss the wife's car:

Good Idea to put a STANGFIX sign on the dashboard
so you can all find each other...or...at least leave a message
(no stickers please !!!)

I have a StangFix cling on my windshield. Section 19 with VFM group.

Got to test drive a '14 GT/CS conv., '14 Escape and '14 Focus hatch, wife's going to do the test drives today. After just sitting in the floor models I think she's sold on getting the daughter a Focus hatch for college in 3 yrs. but may want it sooner for herself to drive when not in her Mustang....we'll see after the test drive today.

Bought my son a Focus hatch in September college. Great car and good gas mileage. He didn't seem to mind stepping down from his 65 Fastback into the Focus. I even enjoy driving the little car!

It seems Thursday turned out to be a good day to arrive. We walked into an empty Embassy Suites and right up to the credential table and had our goodie bag and credentials and were out of there in five minutes. We did have to park in the overflow area for display cars but that was OK since we could spend an hour in the swap meet on the way to gate 26 :)

Overall, my impressions have been positive. We were totally saturated by the display cars and it was certainly a thrill to be looking at all the vintage (our primary interest) iron while hearing and seeing the cars on the track circling us and getting a close-in view of the cars navigating the infield road course. Most of the cars on the track Thursday appeared to be late model but there were a few pretty quick 65-69 models amongst them.

I'm posting from the hotel today as I gave my credentials to Mr. Gem's BIL, a local guy who included us into his motorcycle 'gang' for dinner last night uptown, so he could take in the festivities today before heading back to Maryland for Easter. Unfortunately, Teebone didn't feel up to traveling with us so we're keeping him in the loop via phone.

When MrGem gets back, I'm going to try to find the VMF parking area and see if we can't meet up with some forum members.

It sure is nice being only a mile or so from the venue. It's so easy to get to the Gate 26 access from here. Plenty of parking space and no worries about dings and dents to the car. We did see one late model Mustang Cobra in the lot which looked like war on the front end with a dent in the hood and front bumper support that looked like a light pole or trailer hitch got it. Expensive!

We spent some time at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant bar last night which was a few steps from the hotel and found many Mustang owners there, as well as a contingent of visiting Australian enthusiasts this morning who are staying at the hotel. I thought I traveled far coming from California....ha!

So far, I haven't run into any forum members but hope everyone is having a good time. Wish I had an extra 250 as I would have loved to get some video of Teebone's 'vert out on the track. Man, that looks like fun!

Anyway, good luck to everyone and safe travels home!
