Mustang in tornado

My niece lives in Norman and she came home to find her house still standing but that was about it.

All of their privacy fence was down and their metal lawnmower shed was destroyed.

Nothing like tornado alley.

WOW, it obliterated the garage that mustang was housed in, but left the car fairly in-tact. Of course, we can't see what damage was done from up in the sky, but it was still on 4 wheels, and the passenger side looks fine. I'm sure the collapsing wall did some pretty yucky damage to that driver's side though.

Hey Sherlock, anything else that's obvious you wanna comment on?

Unbelieveble , one house is totally smashed and another not far away still standing.
We don't have anything like tornado's here in Europe , luckily I wouls said !!

Tornadoes are like scalpels, they hit with pinpoint precision and it's all the luck of the draw who gets hit and who doesn't. We had one hit my neighborhood a few years ago. Trees down all around. Some homes destroyed while their next-door-neighbor just has to do some lawn cleanup. They are scary powerful things and it's even more scary when you don't have a basement or anywhere to really seek shelter. We have a closet in our kitchen that's under the staircase, We empty it, crawl inside, and wait til it passes.

It IS the luck of the draw. In '92 Miami-Dade Co. was hit hard by Hurricane Andrew. Besides being a high wind 'cane there were tornado's in the mix. My house suffered minimal damage, 4 houses West, a very similar house got de-roofed and it looked like a giant egg beater churned up the interior. The CBS walls remained and it was rebuilt.

We had 3 tornadoes come through a couple weeks ago. all were within 10-15 miles of my house. Nothing as major as that.
1 house got leveled. Scary stuff.
