My first attempt at cutting vinyl.

Got my cutter today. Vinyl won't be here until tomorrow. You know what Madelin Khan said about those who wait.

Had some walnut contact paper laying around so I put it to work.

As it turns out a may be a cheap yet brilliant choice for doing wall graphics. Just sticky enough to stay in place and not so sticky that it will ruin your latex paint. Especially if its semi gloss.

Actually, I've had in interest in it for many years. Almost got in the biz 15 years ago. Now that I got the garage cleaned up and have decided against building cars for others I thought I might try this as a side gig. I bought a fairly economical 34 inch to start with. It has limited capabilities but will serve the purpose for now.
 
Cutting vinyl? Hell I thought you were going to make a vinyl record of your bathroom sounds. Well thank goodness I was wrong.

So the StangFix stickers should be hot off the press as soon as you get the vinyl?

It's 1 number off.... unless you count the no named #1 member who registered in 1969. :roll

edit.. ok something weird. Midlife, if you hold cursor over says, 7 but if you count your name on the list, its 6 if you don't count the 1969 user. If you do count it, you're 7.

Sluggo is you hold cursor over his name, says 1, so it's not counting the 1969 no name.

Fast68back.. cursor says 2, but on the list he's not #2.

Kat, i think your list goes by active members. When you register, you are assigned a number in order, if you quit, that number stays with you regardless and is never duplicated. for instance, we have 1139 total members, but the last person to register is fordmanmike, and he is number 1340. That means we've lost 201 members either by their own free will or they got booted for lack of use. the 1969 thing must be a system issue... Sluggo is the first member, so he couldn't be number zero. Someone correct me if im wrong.
