My new old truck

Still trying to find solid metal... stopped here.

Grabbed some 1 inch square tubing to brace the cab before I tear any deeper. I have new cab supports to go in after I brace it and remove the cab.

Decided to work on the some other rust issues.

And removed the windshield. It too is rusty.

Hoping to get it braced up and keep digging until there is only good metal left.

Holy holes, Batman! You got some work ahead of you...

I would have been a lot ahead to have found a better cab, but it wouldn’t have been the same truck to me. It’s gonna take some effort that’s for sure but anything worth doing takes effort.

Having another baby really has hampered progress on this thing. Figured I’d have it done by now but such is life.
